2018 has been a year of reflection, personal growth and finding happiness in the wake of tragedy. When I look back on the year I realize how much progress I have made. Finding beauty wherever I can has really helped me not to dwell on the negative things in life. Life is meant to be lived and I have made a conscious effort to live it out loud!
2019 will mark the third year of zero resolutions, they only make me feel guilty when I don’t keep them up. I did eat my black-eyed peas, collards and corn bread for good luck and fortune. I think this is primarily a southern tradition. What traditions do you follow? They say what you do today is what you will be doing all year. With weather in the mid-seventies, I was trimming bushes outside. I will be trying NOT to do that all year! My muscles are very sore tonight. It’s back to work tomorrow and after being off for the past two weeks, I expect to be very busy.
