Denver

Traveling for work doesn’t usually leave much time for sight seeing. Wherever I am, I do try to make the most of it. This past year I have made it a point to get out and see something. Downtown Anywhere, USA never disappoints. I don’t like to wander around past the normal dinner hour, but I’ve found I can usually walk during lunch, see some of the sights, and be back to our booth for the afternoon crowd. During my recent trip to Denver, I walked a few blocks, grabbed the free 16th Street shuttle bus, and rode it down to Union Station. Made for some great snapshots and now I can say been there done that. On the way back, I found a great local delicatessen; popped in and grabbed a quick sandwich before heading back to the show. This was a sweet little find. I knew it must be good since it was completely packed with locals and it sure didn’t disappoint! Everything made fresh to order and lots of great looking homemade desserts too! Of course I brought some pumpkin truffles back to the booth to share!
